The Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon is located 1 mile off of Route 5 near West Hill Golf Course on Ike Dixon Road between Sands Road and Gillie Brook Road. The course includes a 1/2 miles swim in the natural spring fed Gillie Lake, a relatively flat 14 mile bike route and a spectator-friendly 5k run. This is a great event for all women, first time racers, seasoned triathletes and relay teams.
Like all other endurance events, the Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon relies on the great effort of our volunteers. If you would like to volunteer for the Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon, click on the volunteer button at the top of the screen.
In the first five years, the Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon has donated over $100,000 to the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. If you would like to provide additional donations to support breast cancer research, click on the donation button above. We fully expect to have raised over $125,000 in total donations in 2017. Come be apart of our team working hard to enhance treatment protocols, develop new medications and eventually find a cure!

This will be the 2017 Course:
After reviewing the adjustments made to the roads, we feel it offers our athletes a better course, much more scenic with the same basic road profile. If there is any construction on the course between now and race day, we will revert back to the 2015 course. As of now, we don’t foresee a change.
IF there is any construction on the outer roads on this course, as there was last year, we would revert t0 the 2015 course. Note: We do not feel there will be an adjustment to this optional course; however, we want our athletes to be aware. Thank you!!!
Route 695 to West on Route 5. Turn Right onto Ike Dixon Road. Travel approximately 2 miles and turn Right onto Sands or Gillie Brook Road.
